Design Manager – Data Center

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, and specialist contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage the preparation, review, and approval of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Ensure all designs comply with client requirements, international standards, and data center-specific regulations.
• Lead value engineering workshops, constructability reviews, and technical optimization initiatives.
• Act as the primary technical interface between the Client, consultants, authorities, and project teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate design and technical risks.
• Mentor and develop the design management and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in CSA design management within EPC or major construction environments.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale data centers, hyperscale facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Expertise in multidisciplinary design coordination across CSA, MEP, façade, and ICT systems.
• Proficiency in BIM methodologies and digital design coordination platforms.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in fast-track project environments.
