Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design of station and building components within the Västlänken project
• Ensure safe and efficient design and production focusing on time, cost, and quality
• Coordinate stakeholders, technical consultants, and review processes
• Lead design meetings and collaborate with installation coordinators, architects, and BAS-P
• Ensure compliance with authority requirements, laws, and construction environment regulations
• Identify, manage, and follow up on risks, deviations, and quality documentation
• Monitor contractor work, including diaries, schedules, construction drawings, invoices, and ÄTA management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a design manager or equivalent in building construction (within the last 10 years)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction manager or equivalent in building construction (within the last 10 years)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction of public premises as a design or construction manager
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large-scale building project with a contract value of at least 300 million SEK
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a large city environment project
• Experience working with both performance and turnkey contracts
• Experience with the Planning and Building Act and formal permit processes
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Valid B driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building construction within a station environment
• Experience coordinating multiple consultants in a single assignment for at least one year
