Design Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end experience design across acquisition and servicing journeys
• Elevate design craft excellence across interaction design, UX, UI and service flows
• Define and uphold design standards and evolve design systems
• Drive conversion and self-service outcomes through customer insight and experimentation
• Lead and uplift a team of designers through coaching and hands-on direction
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Commercial teams

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in product or experience design
• Proven experience leading designers as direct reports
• Track record of shipping products in acquisition and servicing pathways
• Expertise in end-to-end UX, interaction design, and design systems
• Experience embedding AI into design workflows
• Deep understanding of conversion optimisation and accessibility (WCAG)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex customer journeys

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in complex, regulated, or operational environments
• Experience shaping customer journeys in high-pressure or disrupted travel scenarios
