Design Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and verify all levels of analog and digital layout for DRAM fabrication reticules
• Use computer-aided design software including Cadence, Calibre, and Virtuoso
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to floorplan and design layouts
• Solve layout effects such as ANT, LUP, and ESD
• Apply custom and automated layout techniques to build pitch, array, and peripheral layouts for mixed-signal and electronic circuit builds

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Cadence VLE/VXL and Calibre DRC/LVS
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering
• Strong understanding of and ability to follow verification protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with design engineering to understand layout methodology
• Basic understanding of circuit design
• Knowledge of fab processes, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Optical Proximity Correction (OPC)
