Design Lab & Social Media Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students working in the fashion studio
• Collaborate with faculty on department-wide projects and events
• Oversee studio preparation, cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance
• Manage communications to current and prospective students
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues for students and staff
• Support faculty with administrative tasks including data entry and material prep
• Represent the department during student tours and act as a mentor
• Oversee the department’s social media content creation and scheduling
• Coordinate with other departments for deliveries and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Professional demeanor and effective communication skills
• Strong time management and planning abilities
• Experience managing or curating multiple social media accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
• Must have a current Federal Work-Study (FWS) award

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Fashion student or strong interest in the fashion industry
• Previous experience in a supervisory or mentorship role
