Design Expert, Sales

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and quotas by delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise.
• Conduct client consultations both in-store and virtually to provide tailored furniture and design recommendations.
• Manage the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry through to purchase execution.
• Create spatial plans, floor plans, and design mood boards to ensure proper fit and aesthetic cohesion for client rooms.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Act as a brand ambassador to build local customer relationships and community presence in Boston.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry.
• Experience in the interior design or home furnishings industry.
• Ability to create professional mood boards and floor plans for clients.
• Proficiency with Canva and Google Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and arranging product displays.
• Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D and 3D design software.
• Previous experience working with CRM platforms.
