Design Expert, Sales

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and exceed quotas through exceptional customer service and product expertise
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial client inquiry to purchase execution
• Conduct in-store and virtual client consultations to provide tailored furniture and design recommendations
• Create mood boards and spatial floor plans to ensure proper size, fit, and aesthetic cohesion for client rooms
• Maintain proactive communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Act as a brand ambassador to build local customer relationships and community presence in Charlotte

Requirements

• 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry
• Proven experience in the interior design or home furnishings industry
• Ability to create professional mood boards and floor plans
• Proficiency in Canva and Google Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing and maneuvering in a studio
• Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D and 3D design software
• Experience using CRM platforms
