Design Expert, Sales

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and exceed quotas through exceptional customer service and product expertise
• Conduct in-store and virtual client consultations to guide furniture selections and design choices
• Manage the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to purchase execution
• Create spatial plans, mood boards, and floor plans to ensure proper fit and aesthetic appeal for client rooms
• Maintain proactive communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Act as a brand ambassador to build local customer relationships in the Tysons Corner area

Requirements

• 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in furniture or interior design
• Experience in the interior design or home furnishings industry
• Ability to create professional mood boards and floor plans
• Proficiency with Canva and Google Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and maneuvering in a studio environment
• Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D and 3D design software
• Proficiency with CRM platforms
