About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets and quotas by delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise
- Conduct client consultations both in-store and virtually to guide furniture and design selections
- Own the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to purchase execution
- Perform spatial planning and create mood boards to ensure proper size, fit, and aesthetic for client rooms
- Maintain proactive communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Act as a brand ambassador to build local customer relationships within the SoHo community
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry
- Experience in interior design, including the ability to create mood boards and floor plans
- Proficiency with Canva, Google Suite, and CRM platforms
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and arranging product displays
- Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using 2D and 3D design software
- Background working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
