Design Expert, Sales

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and quotas by delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise
• Conduct client consultations both in-store and virtually to guide furniture and design selections
• Own the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to purchase execution
• Perform spatial planning and create mood boards to ensure proper size, fit, and aesthetic for client rooms
• Maintain proactive communication with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Act as a brand ambassador to build local customer relationships within the SoHo community

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry
• Experience in interior design, including the ability to create mood boards and floor plans
• Proficiency with Canva, Google Suite, and CRM platforms
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and arranging product displays
• Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using 2D and 3D design software
• Background working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
