About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded firmware (bare-metal and/or RTOS) and lab infrastructure to evaluate and validate products
  • Build automation frameworks for validation and characterization using Python, LabVIEW, or C#
  • Drive system-level validation by developing test plans and defining pass/fail criteria
  • Debug hardware and firmware to perform root-cause analysis and drive design fixes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware Design, Firmware, Reliability, and Manufacturing

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and automation languages (Python preferred)
  • Strong foundation in hardware fundamentals including analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power
  • Experience with microcontrollers/SoCs and serial interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, or Ethernet
  • Experience with PCB design or schematic/layout review and hands-on lab bring-up
  • Understanding of software best practices including Git, CI/CD, and unit testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx Vivado FPGA toolchain and UltraScale Architecture
  • Experience with ASIC emulation methodologies or platforms
