Design Evaluation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement bench test solutions for new products within the MEMS Technology Group
• Author characterization plans, bench test methodologies, and detailed evaluation reports
• Collaborate closely with Design and Test Engineering teams to evaluate product functionality and performance
• Utilize IC/Module test and measurement systems to ensure product quality

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor test and measurement environment
• BS in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Solid background in electronics, circuit analysis, and knowledge of amplifiers, PLLs, ADCs, and DACs
• Proficiency with bench test equipment including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Source Meters, and Frequency Counters
• Programming proficiency in NI-LabVIEW, VBA, VB.Net, or C++
• Strong knowledge of IC fabrication, assembly, and test processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JMP, Exensio, or SpotFire
• Knowledge of Micro-Electromechanical Sensors (MEMS)
• Advanced degree or MS units in a relevant engineering field
• Strong statistical analysis and project management skills
