Design Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering design activities for petrochemical and oil & gas projects
• Oversee design of oil & gas separation systems, including process facilities and related units
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams including process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings, and technical documents
• Ensure engineering designs meet project scope, schedule, quality, and cost objectives
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications
• Support technical issue resolution during engineering, procurement, and construction phases
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for engineering teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in petrochemical and oil & gas projects
• Proven experience in oil & gas separation systems
• Minimum 5 years in a Design Engineering Manager or Lead Engineering role
• Strong EPC project experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
