Design Engineer - Wet Utilities

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments including drawings, specifications, and materials suitable for procurement and construction using CAE/CAD.
• Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and assist in performing technical bid analyses.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and junior Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of related work experience.
• Working knowledge of CAD and other engineering-related PC software packages.
• Proficiency in hydraulic design software, specifically Bentley WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS, for modeling and designing water distribution and sewer networks.
