About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and survey teams to develop electrical facility designs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and developers
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, costs, and safety requirements
- Partner with CAD Technicians by providing sketches and reviewing completed drawings
- Utilize CAD tools to support and review electrical distribution designs
- Perform field visits to verify site conditions and identify design constraints
- Prepare material lists and calculate design and construction costs
- Ensure designs comply with municipal permitting and engineering standards
- Identify and resolve job-site hazards and encroachment issues
Requirements
- Experience in electrical distribution system design
- Proficiency with CAD tools
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, civil, and architectural plan sets
- Experience managing project documentation and milestones
- Ability to perform field visits for site verification
