Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish optimal constructive technical solutions, dimensional calculations, execution documentation, and 3D models/drawings using CATIA V5
• Design shock absorbers based on sample measurements and damping forces for AM projects
• Design shock absorbers based on client input data for OE projects
• Perform dimensional, functional, and execution tolerance calculations for designed shock absorbers
• Provide technical assistance throughout the entire production flow, from prototypes and homologation to mass production
• Analyze homologation files for first samples and newly designed parts to approve or reject supplier components
• Elaborate, update, manage, and archive technical execution and constructive documentation using company software

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience in product design
• Proficiency in Catia V5R19
• Knowledge of welding, technical drawing, and strength of materials
• Knowledge of assemblies and machine elements
• Tolerance calculation skills
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Advanced level of English and/or German
