Design Engineer (Repairs)

Responsibilities

• Analyze damage reports and develop innovative repair solutions for aircraft structures
• Ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness by reporting unsafe conditions and maintaining compliance with delivery objectives
• Provide repair instructions that comply with applicable certification/airworthiness requirements and company processes
• Design complex repairs using CATIA V5
• Coordinate proposed repair solutions with stakeholders, considering airworthiness regulations, materials, processes, and aerodynamic effects

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of three years of relevant design experience in the aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of stress and airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Enovia
• Familiarity with SRM, ASRP, and NTM manuals
• Proficiency in both English and French
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines
