Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and review 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and 2D AutoCAD drawings for new components and equipment.
• Perform simulation and structural analysis using ANSYS, including FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), part numbers, and design calculation packages.
• Manage engineering documentation and document control within MasterControl.
• Prepare concept and proposal drawings for internal review and customer submission.
• Coordinate with international engineering teams and liaise with customers and third parties for drawing approvals.
• Prepare technical work instructions, procedures, and manuals for subsea and CPD equipment.
• Participate in quality and EHS audits, including API standards compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering design.
• Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and assembly.
• Familiarity with API standards (e.g., API 6A, 16A, 16C, 16F).
• Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the Oil & Gas or Subsea equipment industry.
• Skills in animation software.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
