About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and develop HVAC and mechanical systems for new and existing projects
- Prepare conceptual designs, technical assessments, and engineering documentation
- Review design drawings, material selections, and technical submittals for compliance
- Develop Scope of Work (SOW), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and system specifications
- Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection
- Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies for system upgrades
- Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure designs comply with international codes such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ASME
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–6 years of experience in mechanical systems and HVAC design
- Proficiency in HAP, Carrier, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles and heat load calculations
- Knowledge of international mechanical design codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
