Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop contact systems and products using CATIA V5 within a development team
• Create supporting documentation, including dimension chain calculations and structural analysis
• Communicate with suppliers and mold manufacturers
• Prepare technical presentations and handle technical documentation in databases
• Test experimental samples and evaluate component and assembly specimens
• Support the production of existing products and manage product modernization
• Provide technical support to sales, quality, and project management departments
• Communicate with customers regarding technical inquiries

Requirements

• Higher education in mechanical engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience in design and development
• Experience in product development for mass production
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and the physics of electric current
• Experience designing stamped and bent parts
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ISO GPS
• Proficiency in English or German (both conversational and technical levels)
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
