About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce and check temporary works designs integrated with permanent works
- Support bids and tenders through outline designs and feasibility studies
- Contribute design outputs including calculations, drawings, reports, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with CDM, SHEMS, and QMS
- Identify technical risks and opportunities for value engineering
- Attend site visits, inspections, and meetings to provide technical support
Requirements
- Completed IEng or CEng Initial Professional Development with a relevant institution (e.g. ICE)
- Experience in temporary works design within construction or engineering
- Understanding of buildability, safety, and compliance in construction engineering
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Proactive and motivated approach to professional development
