About the Company
Euphotic is a deep-tech, IP heavy start-up based in Bangalore working on automating the tedious task of cooking. Our vision is to enable everyone to cook and taste dishes from the corners of the Earth, relieving humanity from cooking in the next 20 years.
Responsibilities
- Work on NPD of next generation robots
- Solve complex mechanical design problems
- Ideate, CAD design, prototype, test, and iterate designs
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to ensure manufacturability
- Design considering user experience and manufacturability
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with development of at least 5 products
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering, sheet metal, injection moulding, and elastomers
- Good understanding of plastic part design, DFM, and plastic materials
- Knowledge of CAD and analysis tools
- Understanding of tolerance stacking, GD&T, and drafting
- Passion for tinkering, experimenting, and solving complex problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience taking up multiple projects during graduation or post-graduation
- Participation and performance in technical competitions
