Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and validate mechanical components and assemblies for heavy machinery.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and advanced 3D models using Creo 9.
• Collect and analyze input data and requirements to inform design concepts.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure functionality, manufacturability, and safety.
• Perform rigorous design validations and tolerance analysis using GD&T.
• Utilize Teamcenter PLM for streamlined product data management and release processes.
• Collaborate with internal project teams and customers to incorporate feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in engineering product development within the heavy engineering sector.
• Proficiency in Creo 9.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM tools.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, mechanism design, and engineering materials.
• Solid understanding of hydraulics and structural design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in new product development and product maintenance cycles.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working in an international client environment.
• Ability to perform complex engineering calculations and validations.
