Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, product, and engineering to develop and evolve the design system
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces
• Design and implement thoughtful UI interactions and micro-interactions
• Refactor existing surfaces to implement the design system and unify visual language
• Document patterns and promote consistency across teams
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to align on requirements and feasibility

Requirements

• 2+ years of Javascript, Typescript, and React experience
• Proficiency in Figma
• Strong understanding of interaction patterns, responsive layouts, and accessibility
• Experience in fast-paced, frequent code deployment environments
• Startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Ability to work in person at the office 4-5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced web animations (three.js, webGL, anime.js, GSAP, etc.)
• Experience with mobile design systems
