Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, VRF systems, and ventilation.
• Perform technical calculations such as heat loads, pipe sizing, pump head, and static pressure.
• Manage ducting design, including sizing, routing, and insulation calculations.
• Prepare Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and manage the approval process with consultants and clients.
• Review and approve shop drawings and ensure interdisciplinary coordination to prevent design clashes.
• Plan project timelines, monitor progress, and manage project variations and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in MEP design engineering.
• Expertise in HVAC system design, specifically chilled water and VRF systems.
• Proficiency in heat load calculations and equipment selection.
• Strong knowledge of duct sizing, routing, and static pressure calculations.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with architects and MEP consultants.
