About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute and lead design work packages with support from internal and external experts
  • Create technical definition solutions within agreed scope, budget, and schedule
  • Create, configure, and prepare design data for development, production, and customer service
  • Ensure all design data complies with technical regulations, customer, authority, and manufacturing requirements
  • Review completed design data for completeness, functionality, and calculation accuracy
  • Perform design analyses for components and assemblies to ensure cost efficiency, safety, and reliability
  • Prepare and implement design changes and redesigns due to manufacturing issues or customer requirements
  • Support product change management and collaborate with other business departments

Requirements

  • Up to 4 years of formal study in engineering, or comparable knowledge/experience
  • Competent technical specialist competence
  • Ability to influence others regarding guidelines, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the aerospace industry
