Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective design solutions based on customer requirements during acquisition and development stages
• Participate in customer alignment meetings and document design experience
• Support DFMA, DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, and fixture designs
• Create technical documents including design guidelines and investigation reports
• Support innovation management by filing invention reports and patents
• Manage escalations regarding workload, design issues, or risks
• Network with experts and Centers of Competence to enhance technical competency

Requirements

• B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in product development or design
• Proficiency with CAD software (UG-NX preferred)
• Knowledge of GD&T, design calculations, and simulation
• Understanding of product design and development processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry
• Master's degree in engineering
