Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front and rear bumper systems including fascia, brackets, reinforcements, and absorbers
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6
• Manage part integration with ADAS sensors, lighting systems, and cooling modules
• Collaborate with styling, simulation, and manufacturing teams
• Support design validation through DFMEA, tolerance stack-up, and design reviews
• Interface with suppliers regarding technical follow-up and design feasibility
• Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO) and maintain documentation consistency

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Design Engineer specializing in bumper systems
• Strong experience in automotive plastic part design and injection molding
• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 / V6 (Part Design, Assembly, Generative Shape Design)
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Understanding of GD&T, crash constraints, and pedestrian protection
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as ENOVIA or Teamcenter
• Fluent English is mandatory
