Design Draftsperson

Responsibilities

• Prepare arrangement and detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor
• Issue accurate manufacturing drawings to fabricators
• Review and check drawings generated by others for compliance with standards
• Utilize existing Inventor models from the SGS library
• Deliver designs and drawings within agreed project schedules
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure accuracy
• Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding drawing issues

Requirements

• High proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor
• Extensive experience in mechanical design
• Strong experience in engineering design and calculations
• Previous draftsperson experience in mechanical or industrial projects
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Current driver’s license
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills
