About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Brand design team of approximately 8 people across brand, motion, web, enterprise marketing, and ambassadors
- Own hiring, team development, and career growth for the Brand organization
- Define long-term brand strategy, including vision, narrative, and guidelines
- Partner with the Creative Director to maintain visual quality and brand coherence
- Run the operating model for brand involvement in launches, campaigns, and GTM moments
- Build production workflows to support high-speed output without sacrificing craft
- Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners including Comms, Product Marketing, and Partnerships
- Manage vendor relationships, contractors, and external agencies
Requirements
- Experience leading a brand or marketing design team of 5+ people at a consumer tech company
- Strong people management instincts and experience developing designers
- Proven operational strength in building intake processes and managing capacity
- High level of design fluency and creative taste
- Experience partnering with communications, marketing, and GTM teams on major launches
- Ability to work collaboratively alongside a Creative Director
