Design Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of temporary works design activities to enable construction delivery
• Collate site inputs, staging information, and design constraints for designers and stakeholders
• Coordinate the distribution of drawings, updates, and project documentation
• Track design packages, reviews, approvals, and closeout actions in line with program requirements
• Follow up on outstanding design actions, RFIs, and deliverables with key stakeholders
• Assist in reviewing submissions for completeness and compliance
• Maintain registers for design packages, submissions, and approvals
• Attend site and coordination meetings, recording actions and maintaining accurate project records

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline
• Experience in design or project coordination on major infrastructure projects (rail, road, civil, or structures)
• Experience coordinating design documentation, comments, reviews, and approvals
• Strong document control, record keeping, and tracking capabilities
• Familiarity with temporary works coordination or design processes
• Exposure to TMR and/or Queensland Rail standards and procedures
• Current Driver’s Licence and access to own transport
