Design Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of bespoke aircraft interiors balancing aesthetics, functionality, and safety
• Create design concepts through research, sketching, mood boards, and presentation materials
• Create and revise floor plans, interior elevations, sections, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Rhino
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to support design development
• Implement drawing revisions and redlines based on design feedback
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and hardware research and specification
• Maintain and organize material specification documents and design libraries
• Prepare presentation materials including renderings and design narratives
• Participate in design and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience or training in architecture or interior design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of drafting interior elevations, cross sections, and detailing
• Ability to travel and work overtime as required
• Must qualify as a US Person for ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience
• Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and MS Office Suite
