Design Consultant

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, space requirements, and design preferences
• Create design concepts, layouts, and furniture plans using CAD or design software
• Provide professional recommendations based on research, trends, and best practices
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and installers to deliver complete solutions
• Develop mood boards, presentations, and visual materials to support client decisions
• Ensure that designs align with budget, timelines, and functional requirements
• Oversee or support the implementation and installation process as needed
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, finishes, and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Proven experience in space planning, commercial furniture, or interior design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budget constraints
• Detail-oriented and client-focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of furniture systems and workplace design trends
