Design Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments under the supervision of firm principals, project managers, and architects
• Develop, modify, and review drawings according to established standards
• Review developer’s architectural documents for contractual compliance with design standards
• Perform quality assurance for documentation in compliance with QA/QC and Best Practice Standards
• Communicate design intent and conduct product and code research for technical documents
• Assist with programming and master planning efforts
• Provide construction administration services and oversee project completion
• Coordinate project information between clients, consultants, and contractors
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, project management, and design/construction teams
• Create graphics and research information for marketing and promotional materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred)
• Hawai’i licensed architect
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, project management, or construction
• Must be a resident of the State of Hawai’i
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and SketchUp
• Knowledge of USGBC/LEED sustainability standards
• Strong understanding of building regulations, life-safety codes, and design principles
