Design Complete Seats-RFQ_BS

Responsibilities

• Act as a core member of the RFQ team for complete seats design and the main contact for Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs).
• Interpret customer specifications and RFQ packs, distributing requirements to component designers (plastics, foams, wire harness, etc.).
• Track ongoing bidding rounds, review, and systematically organize relevant bid documents for the CFT.
• Develop packaging concepts and lead technical discussions with customers regarding complete seat integration.
• Utilize CATIA V5 assembly and kinematics modules for design tasks.
• Manage data through internal and customer data management systems during and after the RFQ phase.

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of professional experience in the automotive industry, specifically within automotive seat systems.
• Engineering degree.
• Proven experience in automotive Complete Seat Design, development, and assembly.
• Proficiency in CAD designing using CATIA V5 (3D and 2D).
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to perform design calculations for static and dynamical loads, deformation, pressure, and mechanism travel/effort.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
