Design Characterization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-silicon design simulations and post-silicon validation for 3D NAND products
• Conduct simulation-to-silicon matching by micro-probing critical circuits and analyzing waveforms
• Collaborate with Design Teams on forward-looking design features, innovations, and circuit development
• Execute product characterization and debugging using bench test equipment, microprobes, and ATE
• Determine design implications on manufacturability and verify design features through early silicon debugging

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE degree
• 2-5 years of experience in Design, Test, or Product engineering
• Background in circuit design, product characterization, and debugging within the memory industry
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and circuit/logic design
• Proficiency with bench test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers
• Experience with Python, Statistics, and Teradyne Magnum Test programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test program development on Teradyne or Nextest platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to share knowledge and support cross-functional groups
