Design & Application Engineer (PMT)

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed automation system architectures, I/O lists, and control philosophies
• Prepare and review functional design specifications (FDS), cause & effect diagrams, and control narratives
• Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider) and DCS platforms (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa)
• Develop HMI/SCADA graphics and dashboards
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Lead or support on-site commissioning, loop checking, and start-up activities
• Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure smooth operation and process KPIs
• Generate as-built documentation, user manuals, and training materials
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC and ISA
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and clients

Requirements

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Schneider)
• Expertise in DCS platforms (Honeywell, Emerson, or Yokogawa)
• Experience in HMI/SCADA development
• Proven experience with FAT and SAT processes
• Strong knowledge of IEC and ISA standards
