Design and Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop technically compliant and cost-effective industrial automation proposals and turn-key solutions for the Middle East region.
• Leverage expertise in automation and high-level SCADA systems to manage the full proposal process, including subcontractor integration.
• Collaborate with global OEMs to track Capex programs and ensure user specifications are met.
• Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and minimize impact on project execution.
• Analyze key accounts and develop penetration strategies to increase market share.
• Diagnose and document customer problems to provide seamless, value-driven solutions.
• Negotiate contractual terms and conditions effectively with customers.
• Align with internal stakeholders to ensure task completion within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience in proposal development within Industrial Automation, power control, or a related field.
• Strong estimation background in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process control.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Proven experience in customer interaction and stakeholder management.
• Strong business writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• High level of commercial awareness and ability to make informed decisions.
