Design and Cost Optimization Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical cost analysis and benchmarking to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement innovative, cost-effective solutions
• Partner with strategic procurement to evaluate supplier pricing and technical compliance
• Assist in project planning and budgeting by providing accurate cost estimates
• Implement best practices in cost management and engineering processes
• Modify technical drawings using EPLAN as required
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to align cost-saving goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of electrical component manufacturers
• English language proficiency (B2 or higher)
• Slovak language proficiency (C1)
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Problem-solving skills and technical mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of EPLAN for technical drawing modification
• Experience using ERP systems
