Dermatology Advanced Care Provider (NP/PA)

Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist with early detection and prevention full body skin exams using Vectra 3D imaging
• Liaise with dermatologists to provide coordinated care for skin lesions requiring biopsy or surgery
• Perform or assist with shave and punch biopsies and minor medical dermatologic procedures
• Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions including warts, acne, and eczema
• Assist with documentation in DermaGraphix and Athena EMR
• Review, triage, and respond to member messages and pathology/laboratory reports
• Participate in dermatology research initiatives with Vectra 3D technology
• Coordinate with primary care clinicians to deliver integrated, personalized care

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner's license or PA-C license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• Ability to work 5 days x 8-hour shifts onsite with weekend availability
• BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Technology proficiency for modern, tech-enabled practice environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team-based care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency, or Family Medicine
• Proficiency in punch biopsy and minor medical dermatology procedures
• Dermoscopy experience
