Dermatology Advanced Care Provider (NP/PA)

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-body skin exams for adults using Vectra 3D imaging to identify changes and guide biopsies.
• Perform or assist with shave and punch biopsies and other minor medical dermatologic procedures.
• Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, and warts.
• Liaise with on-site and off-site dermatologists to coordinate care for lesions requiring excision or Mohs surgery.
• Review pathology and laboratory reports and assist in communicating care plans to members.
• Document clinical and Vectra findings within DermaGraphix and Athena EMR.
• Participate in dermatology research initiatives utilizing Vectra 3D technology.
• Coordinate with primary care clinicians to deliver integrated, personalized care.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical dermatology.
• Proficiency in performing punch biopsies and minor dermatologic procedures.
• High level of technology proficiency and comfort working in a modern, tech-enabled practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dermoscopy or a strong willingness to learn.
