Derivatives Trader

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time risk monitoring and manage exposure adjustments within pre-approved limits
• Monitor liquidity provider connectivity, including performance, execution quality, and failover initiation
• Execute manual hedges in accordance with predefined notional thresholds
• Approve minor spread adjustments aligned with internal policies
• Handle first-level escalations for all desk incidents and report to the Head of Trading Desk
• Operate the 24/7/365 Trading Desk, including managing shift handovers and team coordination

Requirements

• Degree in finance, economics, or a comparable qualification
• At least 3+ years of professional experience in a dealing desk related role
• Strong product knowledge of financial derivatives and crypto-assets
• Proficiency with MT5, MT5 liquidity bridges (e.g., Vantage Bridge), and MT5 risk management tools
• Proven expertise in risk management
• Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 regulated environment
