Derivatives Master Documentation Negotiator, Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate, and execute various trading master agreements including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annex, and related documentation
• Review and analyze legal documentation such as constitutions and investment manager agreements to determine capacity and authority
• Advise on transaction-level documentation including termsheets and trade confirmations
• Monitor local and global regulatory developments and analyze their impact on Master Agreements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external clients and front office sales teams
• Collaborate with internal risk management areas including Credit, Tax, and Collateral Management
• Participate in industry working groups such as ISDA working groups

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer and/or holder of a law degree
• At least 3 years of derivatives documentation negotiation experience
• Experience with Markets Master Agreement negotiations for Asia-Pacific clients
• Understanding of global and local regulatory changes in the derivatives area
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid quantitative skills and interest in business, economics, and law

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin)
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape from a US bank perspective
• Experience with Futures & Options and OTC Clearing
