Derivative Sales Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and own a pipeline of VIP retail traders active in derivatives markets
• Drive the full sales cycle including outreach, qualification, conversion, and onboarding
• Develop deep understanding of perpetual futures mechanics to position products effectively
• Coordinate with product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
• Synthesize client feedback on product gaps and UX for the product team
• Build sales playbooks, outreach templates, and onboarding materials
• Track client activity and identify opportunities to grow wallet share
• Represent Polymarket at trading events and crypto conferences

Requirements

• 3+ years in a client-facing derivatives role (retail sales, VIP account management, or BD)
• Deep familiarity with perpetual futures, funding rates, liquidation mechanics, and margin modes
• Proven ability to source and close high-value clients independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High ownership mentality and ability to build processes from scratch
• Ability to work cross-functionally with legal and compliance teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a top-tier crypto derivatives exchange (e.g., Binance, Bybit, OKX, dYdX, Hyperliquid)
• Existing network of active retail derivatives traders or trading communities
• Familiarity with prediction markets or event-driven trading
• Track record of building a client vertical or product line from scratch
