Deputy Ward Manager in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Nursing, organizational, and personnel management of the ward in the absence of the ward manager
• Close cooperation and regular exchange within the ward management team and nursing management
• Ensuring professional patient care in accordance with applicable standards
• Supporting ward managers in personnel scheduling and team development measures
• Assisting in the organization of workflows in coordination with medical services and therapy
• Participating in direct patient care

Requirements

• Completed training in healthcare and nursing, nursing specialist, or geriatric nursing
• Completed or ongoing training for ward management or willingness to acquire it
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in neurology
• Desirable leadership experience
• Reliability, loyalty, and high level of commitment
• Strong social competence, initiative, teamwork, and organizational skills
