Deputy Vice President - Unit Head - Client Acquisition - SME & Commercial Lending

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective client acquisition strategies for SME and Commercial Lending products.
• Identify and target potential clients through direct outreach, partnerships, and networking.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of client acquisition executives to achieve sales targets.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance support to team members.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive dynamics in the business loan and mortgage sectors.
• Oversee the client onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to conversion rates and sales performance.
• Ensure all acquisition activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in client acquisition, sales, or business development within financial services.
• Deep expertise in SME and Commercial lending products, including Unsecured Business Loans, Working Capital, and Supply Chain Finance.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets and driving business growth.
• Previous experience in a leadership role managing sales or client acquisition teams.
• Strong understanding of Asset-backed Loans, Merchant POS loans, and Trade Finance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or an MBA in Finance.
