Deputy Title IX & Title VI Coordinator & Director of Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day implementation of the university’s Discriminatory and Sexual Misconduct Policy and Campus Climate and Bias Reporting Protocol
• Serve as Intake Officer for new reports related to Title IX and Title VI conduct
• Supervise a team including investigators, a case manager, and a case administrator
• Oversee and manage investigations and participate in process coordination for formal resolutions
• Present programs and trainings regarding compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to assess patterns of misconduct and identify prevention strategies
• Create internal process guidance documents and assist in producing annual reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of professional experience in civil rights compliance, investigations, or related work
• Knowledge of Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, Clery Act, and FERPA
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Supervisory experience with strong team-building skills
• Successful background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Experience with Restorative Practices and Informal Resolutions
