About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day implementation of the university’s Discriminatory and Sexual Misconduct Policy and Campus Climate and Bias Reporting Protocol
- Serve as Intake Officer for new reports related to Title IX and Title VI conduct
- Supervise a team including investigators, a case manager, and a case administrator
- Oversee and manage investigations and participate in process coordination for formal resolutions
- Present programs and trainings regarding compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders to assess patterns of misconduct and identify prevention strategies
- Create internal process guidance documents and assist in producing annual reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of professional experience in civil rights compliance, investigations, or related work
- Knowledge of Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, Clery Act, and FERPA
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Supervisory experience with strong team-building skills
- Successful background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Experience with Restorative Practices and Informal Resolutions
