Deputy Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and coach a portfolio of school principals and assistant principals to meet academic, culture, and operational goals
• Conduct regular school walkthroughs, co-observations, and instructional reviews
• Review student performance, attendance, and culture data to drive continuous improvement
• Support the implementation of the strategic plan and monitor school improvement plans
• Build principal leadership pipelines by identifying and coaching rising leaders
• Partner with network teams to ensure schools receive coherent and high-quality support
• Monitor budget implementation and ensure alignment of financial resources to strategic goals

Requirements

• At least ten years of experience as a teacher and leader with a proven track record of raising student achievement
• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Demonstrated success in building leadership capacity in school principals
• Expertise in translating academic standards into effective instructional design
• Ability to use data to drive strategic planning and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or a related field
