Deputy Structures Lead - Marine/Ports

Responsibilities

• Support the Structures Lead in managing the design production of bridges, viaducts, and port/marine structures.
• Manage project delivery in terms of technical quality, schedule, budget, and contract aspects.
• Prepare or review structural analysis and detailed designs for various civil structures.
• Identify creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client and site constraints.
• Prepare technical and commercial design offers (bids) for the Transportation Business Line.
• Manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, training, and competency development for Structural Engineers and BIM Technicians.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff and support operational team management.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in design activities related to bridge or port/marine structures.
• Proven experience in handling, leading, and checking structural designs (concrete or steel).
• Strong project management experience.
• Proficiency in structural modelling software such as Sofistik, SCIA, or Midas.
• Deep knowledge of international codes including Eurocodes, ACI, and AASHTO.
• Experience working in BIM projects.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) and experience in a multi-cultural environment.
