Deputy School Manager OTA

Responsibilities

• Represent the school management in pedagogical, organizational, and administrative matters
• Share responsibility for the planning, organization, and development of OTA training according to legal requirements
• Lead courses and training cohorts independently, managing learning processes and coordinating theory and practice assignments
• Plan, design, and evaluate theory and practice lessons using modern, competence-oriented teaching concepts and digital media
• Support the organization and implementation of theory and practice examinations
• Advise and support trainees, practical instructors, and lecturers
• Actively participate in school and curriculum development, focusing on digitalization and innovative learning settings

Requirements

• Completed training as an Operationstechnische Assistenz (OTA) or a nursing specialist with advanced training in surgical services
• Completed university degree in pedagogy (e.g., medical, nursing, or vocational pedagogy)
• Several years of professional experience in the operating room area
• Ideally, initial experience in OTA/ATA training or school management
• Strong communication, teamwork, and social skills
• Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
