Deputy Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in executing complex remediation projects, O&M, and GIS/UAS programs
• Serve as the project geologist for the FAA ERSS Project, managing sampling, reporting, and technical oversight
• Assist with the development and implementation of project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, performance standards, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate resource allocation, staff assignments, and subcontractor activities
• Prepare periodic performance reports, including status updates, milestones, and risk assessments
• Act as a secondary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and contractors
• Lead and mentor project teams, including environmental scientists, engineers, and analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in geology (8+ years of relevant experience) or a Master's degree (5+ years of relevant experience)
• Professional Geologist (PG) license
• Proven experience in environmental compliance and site remediation
• Experience in program or contract management, including budget and schedule oversight
• Proficiency with GIS mapping
• Experience managing procurement and subcontractors
• 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or delegating work to others
• Strong communication, stakeholder relationship-building, and analytical problem-solving skills
